TVE PROJECT (March 1996 – February 1997)
The main objective of the project TVE was to develop IEC (Information, Education & Communication) Material for school & college going adolescent youth. This project of one-year duration was sponsored by TVE London and funded by Ms. Ramola Bachchan, the then Chairperson of East West Committee London. Nearly 1000 school & college going students of Delhi were interviewed before developing the Flyer. The flyer along with providing the relevant information on modes of HIV transmission and its prevention including Safe Sexual practices, laid emphasis on postponing the first sexual experience.

The findings of the survey were presented at the ‘XI International Conference on AIDS’ at Vancouver, Canada in July 96 The title of the presentation was; ‘Adolescent Indian Youth, Sexuality and Need to Enhance STDs Related Information with AIDS Awareness Programmes’
